Toolbar menu does not respond <space> to activate submenus

    Ideally the spacebar can be used to expand a menu item that contains a submenu. Tabbing past a parent menu item should not enter the submenu. It should proceed to the next menu item on the same level. Currently the menu only responds to . The only way to tab navigate to a menu item is to tab through ALL of the preceding menu items.
